Paradise, Louis V.; Wall, Shavaun M. – Sex Roles, 1986
Describes a study of 190 first graders' sex typing of the occupations of teacher and principal. Reports that children with female principals were more nonstereotypical than children with male principals and suggests that the presence of both sexes as models for school principal can positively affect children's perceptions.
