Results indicate that feminists and nonfeminists of both sexes have disparate perceptions of desirable characteristics for women. Sixty-four kindergarten children were pretested for ability to conserve liquid quantity and on an original picture test of vocations, choosing a man, a woman, or both as suitable for particular jobs.
