Data on the reliability and validity of the sex-valances scales are summarized along with data from previous research on sex-balanced scales and reporting procedures. Data include that sex differences currently found in interest inventory scores may simply be an unfortunate legacy from an era that took traditional sex roles for granted. (Author)

A causal model for career choice was tested on longitudinal data from 173 students. Results showed clear sex differences. Psychological profit with regard to continued education had a clear direct effect as well as an indirect effect on career choice. (Author)

Resolutions of the 1970 national convention platform of the National Organization for Women were paraphrased to form items for the nine subscales of the Attitudes Toward Feminist Issues Scale (ATFI Scale). Students' subscale scores and total scores were submitted to a three-factor analysis of variance. Results are discussed. (Author)

Survey and ethnographic data were used to explore attitudes toward death among members of varying social categories defined by race, age, social class, and sex. Analysis by age resulted in substantial differences, with middle-aged respondents (45-54 years) expressing greatest fears of death and the elderly (65-74) reflecting the least. (Author)
