Female subjects were randomly assigned to an n Power arousal group or control group. Analysis of TAT protocols revealed that n Power was aroused in women as successfully as the procedures had been with men. Subjects' self-ratings also demonstrated that subjects felt stronger in the experimental group. (NG)

Achievement motivation was successfully measured among male and female college students by having the students rate eight Thematic Apperception Test cards for similarity and scaling the results in two dimensions: number of persons and degree of strong affect. Use of a projective cue with a sample of high school students indicated highly significant sex differences in Intimacy Imagery. Males who showed a stereotypically masculine orientation in their projective responses to two cues were less likely than other males to write stories containing Intimacy Imagery. (Author)
