The author reports results from a 10-year study of vocational agriculture program completers in Arizona. Data are presented on employment status, employment in agriculture or related fields, postsecondary education, and reenrollment. Program graduates were surveyed to determine the roles of vocational agriculture in the occupational success of program graduates from the southern region. Women had higher high school grades and academic ability test scores in Grade 9. By 11 years after high school, men had more education and were earning more money.
