The purpose of this guide is to assist clothing construction and design instructors in the State of Truk, Federated States of Micronesia, in planning instructional programs for secondary school students. Specifically, it is designed to: (1) provide uniformity and direction for all vocational clothing programs in the State of Truk; (2) provide guidelines for all clothing programs at the secondary school level; (3) establish attainable objectives of student progress through an accountable program; (4) allow flexibility according to students' needs and abilities; and (5) provide direction for inservice as well as preservice teachers in all secondary schools. The guide provides the rationale, content description, goals, and objectives to each level (9th through 12th grade); the specific performance objectives and recommended aids and teaching methods; and instructional resources.
