Explored the ability of 269 students in grades 8, 10, and 12, to estimate their scores on psychometric instruments measuring self-awareness. No sex or age differences were found, but Black students were less accurate in their self-assessments than whites. Results suggest career counselors should consider means of increasing self-awareness. (JAC)

This study investigated the relationships among vocational, moral, and social development in ninth- and twelfth-grade students to clarify the psychological and psychosocial nature of vocational maturity. The effects of age differences and sex differences are discussed. (PP)

Surveyed the vocational developmental pattern of Nigerian students (N=400) using the Career Maturity Inventory (Crites). Results indicated the overall vocational maturity showed a prototypic pattern of progressive increase by age, but especially by grade.
