An annotated bibliography of general and specialized reference works for Russian and Soviet literature is intended for both students and researchers. English language and Russian language sources in the McGill University (Canada) libraries are included. Subject headings include guides (to the literature and to archival resources), encyclopedias, dictionaries (language, etymology and idioms, literature, and biographical), books reviewing sources, bibliographies (general and retrospective), and bibliographies of Russian literature (by period, periodicals, translations, dissertations, and Soviet lists).
