Texas school children receive career counseling from several sources including vocational counselors, "regular" counselors, and vocational teachers. This study attempts to determine the relative counseling effectiveness of these types of professionals and further, to identify background characteristics of effective counselors. (Author)

This is a study of the changes that occur in undergraduate student interviewers as traced in three separate interviews over a 3-year training period and replicated over two classes of students.
