The experimental form of the Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire (16PF) for a low literate population was verbally administered to a population of retarded adults. Teacher ratings were also obtained on the most important personality dimensions involved in the 16PF. Results suggested a modest degree of agreement. (Author)

The study investigated the capacity of the Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire (16PF) to discriminate between those who frequently recall dreams and those who do not. Canonical correlational analyses of the Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire and a relatively scale-independent life history inventory yielded three interpretable roots for 186 females and four roots for 155 males.
