This research's objective was to determine how the principals' leadership style correlates with the teachers' job satisfaction. The research study determined whether administrators' leadership styles can affect teacher job satisfaction in elementary schools. The research question which guided the research: "Is there a statistically significant relationship between the principals' perceived leadership style and the overall job satisfaction of teachers." The research methodology used with these research questions was a quantitative nonexperimental correlational design. Using the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ) and the Teacher Overall Job Satisfaction (TOJS), the focus was to recognize any negative or positive correlations between participants' scores on each of the variables. According to an annual report from the county where the study was conducted, for a recent school year, there are between 20,000 and 30,000 employees and more than 100 elementary schools. The population consisted of 125 male and female certified elementary teachers in public schools in the Southeastern region of the United States. The data was downloaded from SurveyMonkey to an excel spreadsheet and uploaded to SPSS version 26 to be coded and cleaned and multiple linear regression analysis. The data analyzed were the scores for the MLQ and the TOJS online through SurveyMonkey. Research shows the study's findings were that Pearson's r correlation indicated a nonsignificant relationship between teachers' job satisfaction and the intellectual stimulation scale under transformational leadership traits. Multiple regression showed no significant predictive relationship between leadership type and job satisfaction. There was an approaching significance between individual consideration and job satisfaction (p = 0.055). [The dissertation citations contained here are published with the permission of ProQuest LLC.
