Games People Oughta Play. A Group Process for Needs Assessment and Decision-Making for Elementary and Secondary Schools.
Wickens, David
"Games" is a decision-making process for groups to use in analyzing the educational needs of a school. During three group sessions, a moderator leads the participants through a series of activities in which they identify: 1) concerns about the educational program, 2) needs for program improvement, 3) resources that are being used in relation to these needs, and 4) resources that could be used. This guide lists and defines each activity's purpose, procedure, outcome, and relationship to the next activity. "Players" include participants, facilitators (moderators), and recorders. Games can be adapted for the evaluation of different types of educational programs. (CJ)
