The development of the new fifth edition of the Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire (16PF) is described. The factor structure of the new 16PF was explored with 4 samples ranging from 646 to 3,498 subjects. Results support the validity of the 16PF factor structure and its continuity with earlier versions. (SLD)

Comparability of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) and the MMPI-2 was explored by examining T-score means, profile configurations, score distribution, and rank-order correlations on validity scales for 84 undergraduates. Performance of 80 college students on class examinations was studied in relation to self-reported levels of state, trait, and general test anxiety. Data show no relationship between state anxiety and performance. However, general test anxiety was related to examination performance. Test anxious students may not prepare well for examinations. The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between a student's spirituality and religious beliefs and the impact of those beliefs on the decision to use substances.
