The personality profiles of nonathletes and baseball, football, and track team members were investigated as segmented types. The Personality Profile System found no differences in baseball players from nonathletes, and football players and track team members were more dominant and less patient than nonathletes. The ability of the "fake good" indicators on the Personality Diagnostic Questionnaire-4 (PDQ-4) (S. Hyler, 1994) for "Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders" Axis II disorders was studied with 99 college students.
