Luzzo, Darrell Anthony; McDonald, Andrew – Journal of College Student Development, 1996
Students (44 women, 63 men) living in residence halls at a southern university completed a survey designed to evaluate their reasons for living on campus. Participants cited convenience, opportunities to meet new people, and the ability to be part of the "whole college experience" as most influential in their housing decision. (RJM)
