Analyses of tasks performed by secretaries in government or government-related agencies in the Washington, D.C., area were made from data collected by interviews on the job. Data include position, title, tenure, previous experience, rating, salary, training, and tasks performed. Implications of the findings will be considered for two- and four-year college degree programs. (MF)
