Enrollment data are provided for each school of medicine, osteopathy, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, podiatry, and veterinary medicine for the academic years 1970-71 through 1977-78. In one section, the schools are classified by discipline, and within each discipline the schools are sorted alphabetically by state; discipline totals are also provided. The information for the schools of medicine, osteopathy, and dentistry includes enrollment data for three-year programs, other programs (two-year, four-year, or longer), and those physicians' assistant and dental therapist programs receiving capitation support.
