Discusses the rationale and describes the components of a three-phase approach in which an instructional improvement consultant and training instructor work as partners in the process of building and refining the teaching skills of classroom instructors in training settings. (MBR)

This study gathered information about the personal teaching theories, learning styles, and teaching methods and techniques of instructors in a business setting. Results of the study and principles derived from research on faculty development are reflected in a proposed intervention model which is designed to improve instructor skills. (MBR)
