Surveyed 41 gerontological counseling educators and 253 directors of Area Agencies on Aging to compare their ratings of goals and roles of gerontological counselors. Results showed a wide gap between educators and administrators, but the administrators indicated that counseling can be incorporated into existing aging service networks. (JAC)
