Technology Skills of Bridging County School District Graduates

In this study, the researcher explored if Bridging County School District was adequately preparing its graduates for higher education. It is hard to live life and not interact with technology of some kind in today's society. Albert Bandura's Self Efficacy Theory, The Constructivist Learning Theory, and Technology Self Efficacy guided this research. The participants in the study were all graduates of Bridging County School district and were interviewed using Zoom. All participants reported having issues while in higher education and lacking skills that are required in higher education. The findings are important because they show that much more can be done to prepare students to be College and Career Ready after graduation. In conclusion, participants reported that they did not feel adequately prepared for higher education and were missing vital skills to be successful in higher education.
