The collective bargaining agreement reached between Adelphi University and the Adelphi University Chapter of the American Associaton of University Professors (AAUP) is presented. Items covered in the agreement include: recognition of AAUP as the bargaining unit representing full and part-time faculty; personnel plan and governance procedures; affirmative action and academic freedom; grievance and arbitration; compensation; fringe benefits; released time; faculty information, facilities, and privileges; and workload. The appendices contain the National Labor Relations Board Certification of Representative and the School of Social Work Workload. (SPG)
