Almost every one of the Vietnamese immigrants in Canada has experienced problems concerning language, weather, life style, housing, schooling, and employment. Despite the stress and strain, however, family ties and some cultural aspects remain strong and many Vietnamese are optimistic about their future as a community in Canada. (Author/EB)
