This flight test guide is designed to assist the applicant and his instructor in preparing for the flight test for Instrument Pilot Airplane Rating under Part 61 (revised) of Federal Aviation Regulations. It contains information concerning pilot operations, procedures, and maneuvers relevant to the flight test required for the Instrument Rating. Maneuvering by reference to instruments, IFR navigation, instrument approaches, cross-country flying, and emergencies are outlined. A suggested flight test checklist is included. (KP)
