Issue is taken with Bureau of Labor Statistics surveys of unemployment among 1972 liberal arts graduates because they are taken in the first year or two after graduation. The author reports his own 1974 study of 735 1972 graduates which reveals lower rates of unemployment and higher levels of employment. (JT)
