Salaries and Fringe Benefits, Classified Personnel, 1975-1976. A Study of the Salary and Fringe benefits for Selected Classified Personnel in Western New York.
Erie County Board of Cooperative Educational Services 1, Cheektowaga, NY.
This publication presents comparative data on the salaries and fringe benefits of classified personnel employed by school districts in the six counties of western New York during the 1975-76 school year. Data were gathered from questionnaires completed by individual school districts; approximately 81 percent of the 95 districts in western New York responded to at least part of the questionnaire. Part 1 presents data on salaries of classified personnel, listed according to the classifications prescribed by the State Education Department and the Civil Service Commission. Major subsections list salary data for board of education personnel, health services personnel, transportation personnel, plant operational and maintenance personnel, school lunch personnel, office personnel, and aides. Part 2 presents data on fringe benefits for classified personnel, with separate subsections for full-time employees, part-time employees, and longevity payments. Part 3 presents information on definitions of full-time employment for different occupational groupings of classified personnel, listed by individual districts, summarized by county, and summarized for all of western New York. Within most tables, data are listed by individual school districts, which are arranged alphabetically according to county. (JG)
