The guide lists and describes physical education and recreation services available to handicapped people in the Detroit, Michigan, area. Agencies are arranged in five sections: those agencies providing services for most handicaps, including mental retardation, physical impairments, and learning disabilities; those providing services principally for physically or health impaired; those providing services principally for the retarded; those providing services principally for visual, hearing, and speech impairments; and camps for the handicapped. Information provided for each agency includes name, address, phone number, director, age group served, who is eligible for services, handicapped population served, geographic area served, a description of services offered, hours and days programs are offered, fee requirements, office hours, and other miscellaneous information.
