Il-Yong Andy Jung
ProQuest LLC, D.Min. Dissertation, Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
The purpose of the current project is to explore ways to help older adults grow in their faith and live a life of discipleship. The subjects of the study are members of the Cornerstone Church. To do so, the researcher analyzed the current environment of the church and conducted surveys and interviews. The discipleship project with the elderly took place over 12 weeks. The participants consisted of 10 seniors aged 65 and older. As a result of the project, the participants had a positive mindset about being an elderly person, they understood the meaning of discipleship, and some participants are already currently involved in nurturing other elderly people.
