To determine if demography impacted the success of graduate students in the online learning environment, this non-experimental study used age, gender, ethnicity, enrollment status, financial dependency, employment status, program (master's or doctoral), and marital status as the independent variables to determine their impact on four dependent variables, achievement goals, subjective value of college education, perception of online learning, and perceived success using independent samples t-tests, one-way ANOVAs and Pearson r analyses. Results found significance between the means of gender and age when compared to the means of achievement goals; significance between age and subjective value of college education and between age and perceived success.
