Sciara, Frank J. – Child Study Journal, 1971
In a controlled study, 70 fourth grade Negro boys ascribed high status occupations to Negro men with light coloring and low status occupations to Negro men with dark coloring. Findings seem to indicate that the new sense of unity and emphasis upon black pride has had little effect upon these young subjects. (Author/MK)
