Reports on a study of Russian stereotypes of among 1,486 students and 707 instructors in 30 higher education institutions in Russia and former republics of the Soviet Union. Finds that two-thirds of respondents have anxiety feelings caused by knowledge or fear of interethnic conflict. (CFR)
