ProQuest LLC, Ed.D. Dissertation, Wilmington University (Delaware)
Seven K-8 Salem County, New Jersey Schools were surveyed regarding safety and security protocols in conjunction with student mental health awareness. The administration at these school districts were asked to identify breakdowns in their policies and procedures, along with protocols for addressing student mental health awareness. These findings will assist school districts in structuring their safety and security plans in a fashion that will promote the most effective results in conjunction with the best practices for student mental health.
