Helpful information offered includes a checklist and time line of activities to complete when applying for college; sample letters requesting information on enrollment and financial assistance; a budget sheet to determine college cost; ten rules to remember when seeking financial assistance; a checklist for financial aid --Basic Education Opportunity Grant (BEOG) and Bureau of Indian Affairs of BIA funding--and admissions; procedures to apply for higher education grants; directions on how to make an application for BIA grant money; and how to apply for a tribal roll number. Several listings of resource programs and people are provided.
