This report describes and analyzes the results of the first part of a two-phased study concerning the post graduation plans of seniors enrolled in Idaho secondary schools in 1971. Although it contains general information about all seniors who participated in the survey, the report focuses upon the plans of those seniors who expressed in intention to enroll in a college or university following graduation from high school. It analyzes the preferences of seniors for institutions of higher education in Idaho and out-of-state; it identifies reasons given for the selection of a particular institution; and it indicates that curriculum preferences of college bound seniors.
