It contains outlines of areas of instruction which include: behavioral objectives, teaching content and suggestions for learning experiences, evaluation, teaching resources, and instructional supplies. Areas of instruction range from basic textile and fashion marketing to industrial sewing, designing, and garment construction. Career advancement skills include fabric utilization, quality control, pattern making, and advanced design. Suggested equipment and approximate costs are included as well as a bibliography and a list of representative trade associations.
