Annesser, Dorothy – School Arts, 1977
The dashiki, a loose blouse-like garment, probably originated in West Africa. The simplicity of the garment made it an excellent choice for construction by eight- and nine-year-old students. Describes how students at the Thousand Oaks School in Berkeley, California, learned to make the dashiki. (Author/RK)
