This packet contains materials for a three-day nontraditional career awareness unit which have been tested and evaluated by over 10,000 students and numerous counselors and other educators. Its purpose is to make students more aware of the full range of career opportunities open to male and female students. A cover page for each day lists objectives, procedures, and materials required. Student handouts, including worksheets and informative material, follow. Supplementary materials are appended. These include tests and information sheets on a variety of nontraditional career opportunities, such as business occupations, health assistants, child care provider, cosmetologist, fashion designers, professional dancing, printer, welder, electrician, civil technology, machine operator, engine repair trade, and building trades.
