Students in the last grade of an Israeli high school were given an interest questionnaire drawn up according to Roe's (1956) occupational classification. Examined the relationship between sex role and nontraditional major choice. The sample included 693 students. Results indicate significant distributional patterns in sex-role and choice of major, which vary by sex. The factored scales from the Bem Sex-Role Inventory did demonstrate some power to discriminate students. (Author)
