A Study of the Effects of Pre-Existing "One-to-One" Technology Programs on Achievement Outcomes Post-Pandemic
Lisa Carron
ProQuest LLC, Ed.D. Dissertation, Mississippi College
This quantitative study aims to determine if there is a relationship between schools that had one-to-one technology programs pre-pandemic, and achievement test score outcomes. The study focused on the twenty-three school districts that had one-to-one programs pre-pandemic in Mississippi, and compared their performance with test scores from twenty-three other paired districts that did not have one-to-one technology programs. The study sought to determine whether or not having a pre-existing technology program led to greater student achievement as measured by student MAAP and ACT testing post-pandemic.
