Contained in this document is the policy statement from the Utah System of Higher Education. The contents include policy concerning: academic tenure, achievement of tenure; achievement of tenure by promotion or award, advance notice of termination or reduction in status, procedure for discipline and termination for cause, due process, procedures subsequent to notice, suspension pending action, sanctions, termination or other changes in status for other cause, terminations not governed by this statement, resignations, termination of a nontenured faculty member, and prior conduct.
