Blagojevic, Bonnie; Thomes, Karen
Young Children, v63 n5 p66-70, 72 Sep 2008
Photographs can support and serve as prompts for high-quality discussions and increase children's confidence in expressing their views. The authors collaborated on the Young Photographers Project in two phases in Karen's pre-K classroom. They describe the project and reflect on the children's exposure to and practice in using technology to represent ideas through artwork and storytelling. The technology learning and practice sessions provided foundation skills upon which children would build throughout the project.
