The course described here uses an underlying, concrete theme--that of situation-centered explanations of human behavior--to connect several topics in social psychology, thereby enhancing the coherence of the course. A computer is used to individualize student assignments in statistics. The principal benefit of individualized activities is that they emphasize decision-making processes rather than correct answers.
