Study examined expectations, in an idealized sense, that students and faculty might carry into a college course. Student and faculty responses to items on an evaluation questionnaire were compared. Faculty and students agree on the value of communication skills, but they differ on the value of intellectual and practical outcomes. (RM)

Undergraduate psychology teaching assistants were given increased responsibilities by having them teach weekly lab classes. The assistants conducted a weekly seminar for instruction in group facilitating skills and held office hours for students.
