The Regional Higher Educational Institution and the Labor Market:Problems of Adaptation: The Example of Chita Oblast

To examine the situation in the Russian labor market and the extent to which college graduates met the requirements of employers, a survey of 382 experts was carried out in November and December 2000. Of that number, 196 were administrators of enterprises of the traditional or state type (Group A), 136 were administrators of enterprises of the innovative type (Group B), and forty represented the administration of educational institutions.
