Fuller, Gerald B.; Vance, Booney – Psychology in the Schools, 1995
Extends the reliability research of the Qualitative Scoring System for the Modified Version of the Bender-Gestalt Test. Bruneau, Odette J. – Psychology in the Schools, 1985
Compared the scores of Native American and Anglo American preschoolers (N=58) on the Primary Self-Concept Inventory. Sattler, Jerome M.; And Others – Psychology in the Schools, 1985
Parental estimates (N=24) of their normal and high-risk preschool children's vocabulary ability were compared to children's scores on the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test-Revised. Results suggested that although parents tended to overestimate ability, their estimates were somewhat useful for placing children in a broad classification range. (NRB)

Examined concurrent validity between Woodcock-Johnson Psycho-Educational Battery-Revised Tests of Cognitive Ability (WJ-R, COG) (Early Development) and Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence-Revised (WPPSI-R) by administering instruments to 30 normal 3, 4, and 5 year olds. Dusewicz, Russell A.; Higgins, Martin J. – Psychology in the Schools, 1971
The relative advances in cognitive development and hearing vocabulary not only demonstrate the effectiveness of a particular program in a particular center, but also the potential effectiveness that preschool programs in general can achieve with disadvantaged children as young as 19 to 28 months of age. (Author)

White, Donna Romano; Jacobs, Ellen – Psychology in the Schools, 1979
The purpose of this study was to measure the relationship between the Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence (WPPSI) IQs and subtest scaled scores of preschool children and their reading achievement in grade one.
