This study was conducted in order to determine the knowledge and awareness levels of students who studied the elective subject of environmental ethics at the Vocational School of Health Services (AVSHS) in Aydin, Turkey. The results of 172 students' questionnaire showed that the students did not have sufficient knowledge about renewable energy, renewable energy recourses, the Kyoto protocol and whether the resources used to produce energy at present cause to the release of greenhouse gases or not.
