School discipline is viewed as a national concern that is becoming more serious by the day. Practicing teachers, student teachers, and preservice high education students across the country are concerned with discipline-related problems in schools across the nation. Perceptions of discipline influence practicing teachers, student teachers, and preservice teachers in many different ways as they go about making decisions regarding management, discipline, and career choices. This study (N = 110) enrolls surveying students enrolled in the Classroom Management Course YOED 4000 at various sites. Surveys gauge students' perceptions of discipline within the classroom.
