Imbimbo, Patricia V. – Journal of Youth and Adolescence, 1995
Gender differences in identity formation were studied in 57 female and 39 male late adolescents (college students) from divorced mother-custody families. The absence of the father and the altered role of the mother appeared to have a differential impact on males and females who grew up in mother-custody families. (SLD)
