A teaching technique where the lecture is interspersed with a series of multiple-choice questions displayed on 35mm slides or transparencies that can be projected by the overhead projector is described. Data on the incidence of hepatitis B viral infection are examined, and a telephone survey of 19 schools of optometry concerning administrative policy about student immunization is reported.
