The option of using Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) to make health services more available and accessible to those who most need them is discussed. The author concludes that a National Health Insurance program will soon emerge and HMO's will be a necessity in that program. (BT)

Sodium enters drinking water by a variety of human activities and by natural means. Evidence suggests elevated levels of sodium in drinking water may adversely affect health. Action should be taken to reduce the level of human exposure to sodium in drinking water. (RE)
