Administered the Residence Hall Environment Questionnaire to 9,595 dormitory residents to measure student perceptions and provide feedback to housing staff members. Results indicated most students characterized their residence hall as a supportive, active, and educational environment and were very satisfied with living conditions. (JAC)

Examined the relationship between individual temperament and initial adjustment to residential college living. Students (N=70) completed a packet of several questionnaires. Results showed that the temperament dimensions of adaptablity and attention were significantly correlated with affective adjustment measures. (BH)

Surveyed 78 students to examine the nature of physical and verbal abuse experienced by students who filed judicial complaints.
